The 2020 Porsche Taycan Is A New, Exciting All-Electric Sports Car

The 2020 Porsche Taycan is the first of its kind. A fully electric Porsche.

Introducing The 2020 Porsche Taycan

Late last year, they announced the 2020 Porsche Taycan to the world in three locations. It was a big production to showcase a big milestone in Porsche’s history.

We attended the Niagara Falls showcase to see the launch of the vehicle first hand.

What makes it green?

The long and short of it, no petrol is being used. It’s a fully electric vehicle that gives you the range of 412 to 450km with its electric battery only.

This car outputs no emissions and little car maintenance.

It’s an exciting vehicle that has a top speed of 260 km/h for its Turbo and Turbo S models, which gives you plenty of range to kick it into gear.

It also charges up a range of 100km in only 5 minutes and up to 80% using a 270 kW charger in only 22.5 minutes. If you were using a 50 kW charger, you are looking more towards 93 minutes in charge time for 80%.

The Bottom Line

If you are looking at a sports car for your next purchase, be sure to consider the Taycan and help reduce your carbon footprint in the world. Less fuel consumption, fewer fossil fuels and less oil to consider. Help be an advocate for a greener future, help bring awareness to more electric vehicles and champion more infrastructure to electrical power, instead of gas stations.

The Taycan itself will be the first fully electric Porsche to be fully produced for consumers. We are excited to see an electric vehicle contender as it rivals Tesla in the (quietest) race for the top spot in high-performance electric sports car vehicles.

To learn more about the 2020 Porsche Taycan, be sure to visit their website. Prices for the 2020 Porsche Taycan start at $119,400 and go up to $213,900 MSRP.
